Hi! My name is Sylvia Elise Rust (she/her/hers). I am 27 years old, and I am really concerned about 27 year olds (and other people in my generation). A lot of us have felt the weight of the world on our hearts, feel like we are constantly misunderstood, we are unsure about our identities, and we are afraid of God.

All trauma can be unlearned. You have to acknowledge the shame you feel. You have to acknowledge your pain.

If you do not… if you feel safe in isolation… I am concerned about you. I want to help you.

I have lost so many friends to intrusive thoughts/drug overdoses/suicide. I will not bury another friend. I want to see you thrive. I want to see you get better because you can.

I know you can get better. Everyone is capable of having good days. Everyone is capable of love.

You are capable. You are capable of love. You are full of it. I know it! I’ve seen it. I see the good in you… like Stitch… like ya, there’s some red in there but… we can make you all good. It is possible.
